a little about our day
Thank you so much to everyone who is able to be here to celebrate with us. We know choosing to keep our wedding celebration so small, with only our family and very closest friends, is a little unconventional, but it is exactly what felt right for us. We wanted our wedding day to feel intimate, relaxed, and most importantly, like us.
Since our day will look a little different from a traditional wedding, we wanted to give you a little glimpse into what to expect!
Our ceremony will be very short and sweet, so there will not be traditional seating. We’ll have a few lawn chairs available at the front for anyone who would prefer or need a seat. There also won’t be a traditional processional or a large bridal party standing with us at the altar. Instead, both of us will be there as you arrive, ready to greet everyone and enjoy some time together.
Once everyone has arrived and we’ve had a chance to say our hellos, we’ll gather together for our short ceremony.
After we say “I do,” we’ll move into family photos, followed by photos with our friends. We’ll have a list prepared ahead of time so we can make sure we get pictures with everyone and don’t miss a single person!
From there, we’ll cut our wedding cake and share cupcakes with everyone. Then we’ll spend a little more time mingling, visiting, and soaking in the day with all of the people we love most.
Finally, we’ll end the celebration with a flower petal toss as our send-off!
We know this may not look like the traditional wedding day some of you may be used to, but we are so excited to celebrate our marriage in a way that feels genuine and meaningful to us. Having the people closest to us there is what will make this day so special.

Attire
We're excited to celebrate with you and would love for everyone to embrace the colors and joy of spring! Weather can be somewhat predictable for February, so we are expecting cooler spring temperatures (60s-70s).
Ladies
Spring-colored dresses are encouraged, and florals are always welcome! Think Easter Sunday church service—bright, cheerful, and elegant. Pastels and soft spring hues are perfect.
Gentlemen
Church or Easter attire is encouraged. Dress shirts, slacks, sport coats, or suits are all great choices. We especially love blues, yellows, and pinks to complement the springtime celebration.

The ceremony will be outdoors with a short cupcake reception and pictures afterwards. We will be standing in a grassy area under a canopy of oak trees. Keep this in mind when picking out shoes!

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to 11AM. And you should expect to be heading out before lunch!

Yes! Parking is right by the wedding area in JF Gregory Park. There will be indication of which parking lot to park in.
